What with it being DAGRE MONTH and all at

, here is a sketch I did a couple of months ago to get ready for Dagre's appearance. I didn't end up changing his face to more of a pug style (although I like the way it looks here).

I have to say I absolutely love his speech pattern. It's so much fun to sound out and totally adds to his insanity theme. I love the whole concept of being tortured by some sort of god or demigod. Yes, I am that kind of freaky person.

Great big GOOGLY EYES. Jesus. I thought he was just a big freaky tiger at first. When I realized how long his neck was (in the comic I mean, here it's obvious) it was like a plunge into the uncanny valley. 10X more disturbing. I love that. Making things disturbing is a gift.
